Five farmers under the Integrated Farming System were awarded on December 23, 2020 in recognition of their efforts to improve their livelihood through farming. Because of their diligence in practicing sound farming management and their conscientious effort to pay their dues to ADTEMPCO, they are eventually becoming successful farmer entrepreneurs.
The IFS farmers were Edna B. Jumadas, Marjohn A. Galicia, Mercedita E. Bolante, Luisa Z. Bernardez, and Jose B. Santamaria. With the promising performance of these IFS members, ADTEMPCO is hopeful that the program will be replicated to other farmers who are willing to meet the necessary requirements of being a farmer entrepreneurs under the guidance and support of the Cooperative.
In celebration of the Christmas season and as thanksgiving for overcoming the challenges brought about by the pandemic in the agriculture sector, the IFS members and employees shared a boodle fight lunch together after the fun and games and the exchange of gifts.
To add merriment to the activity, all farmers were given the chance to participate in the raffle draw in which the prize is a piglet with feeds, courtesy of ADTEMPCO BDS, supplies provider of the IFS for poultry, piggery and crop production needs.
