Coopmart Manabo posts an unexpected gross sales of more than a hundred thousand pesos on its first day of operation on November 30, 2020.

The formal opening of the latest Coopmart branch by ADTEMPCO was celebrated by a motorcade around the town, a mass at the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Church and the cutting of the ribbon and blessings witnessed by the community people, cooperative members, officers and staff.

Manabo Mayor Joanna T. Domasing and Atty. Edwin Concepcion, Jr., legal counsel of ADTEMPCO, took part in the ribbon cutting ceremony and the blessing of the establishment was done by Fr. Cirilo Ortega, chairman of the Board of Directors of the Coop.

After the activities, shoppers came in to make their purchases. Due to the COVID security protocols being followed, the shoppers have to wait their turn and were treated to snacks and entertained through an attendance raffle conducted by the ADTEMPCO Manabo credit branch.

At the day’s end, Coopmart Manabo has breached the 100k-mark, according to Ms. Belinda Palecpec, head of ADTEMPCO Business Enterprises.

Meanwhile, Engr. Irene Bringas, CEO of ADTEMPCO, thanked all the people who helped make the establishment of Coopmart Manabo a reality. She also reiterated that ADTEMPCO, along its products, services and business activities, are meant to complement, not to compete. To help, not to dominate for the good of the cooperative members and the community.
