ADTEMPCO receives recognition for participation in Deped program

Dr. Gloria B. Buya-ao, Schools Division Superintendent of Abra, awards the Certificate of Recognition to Mr. Ernesto Lucky G. Blanco, Children and Youth Development Officer of ADTEMPCO, and Ms. Jeimee Angel B. Bisares, for their participation in the Salin Kahusayan Program for Abra learners on social media.
ADTEMPCO continues to serve not only through the various cooperative activities but also in other fields and agencies like the Department of Education.
In an awarding ceremony held in November 19, 2020, Deped Abra Division recognized the participation and active support of the speakers during its Salin Kahusayan Program posted on social media during the pandemic. Among those who were acknowledged are the contributions of ADTEMPCO through its Children and Youth Program and Mt. Carmel Agri-tourism and Training Center, Inc.
The Salin Kahusayan Program is the creation and uploading of videos accessed by the Abrenian learners through the use of social media particularly on Facebook. DepEd Abra aimed to optimize the learners’ skills through the instructional videos and lectures.
Mr. Ernest Lucky Blanco, Children and Youth Program Officer, lectured on financial literacy and hosted a breadmaking talk show with Ms. Jeimee Angel B. Bisares, an Aflatoun member. Bisares was a participant to the youth summer skills development program on Bread and Pastry sponsored by ADTEMPCO.
Mt. Carmel Agri-tourism and Training Center, Inc., a subsidiary of ADTEMPCO, was also featured in another episode of Salin Kahusayan showing MCATCI as an agri-tourism site and the various agricultural practices that learners could use in their gardening activities.
ADTEMPCO and DepEd Abra has collaborated in various projects involving education and youth development such as the Aflatoun Program, the immersion of Senior High school students at Mt. Carmel and other offices of ADTEMPCO, Brigada Eskwela and others.
